Economics in the world

This subject try to concienciate the students how the world is nowadays. What are de main problems and reasons of the actual crisis in the world. It also show us the main bases to create and enterprise or how to run or control it (how to enter to the market, the globalization…)

Economics is the social science that analyzes the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services. It omes from the Ancient Greek. Economics, is a subject that Modern languages and Managment are attending. This subject is focus to the actual crisis that the world is suffering and it also talks about diferent fields where economics has influence.

In order to attend this subject, there are some necesities as the program given by Francisco Rodríuez Ortiz (University of Deusto)  such as; read the newspaper to discuss actual matters of the economics, we should read as well a book of economics articles given by him, and we must prepare expositions of those articles to presentate them in class.

During the course we have studied great people from the economics world such as Michael Porter(How Competitive Forces Shape Strategy), Karl Marx ( only in the economics field) and great banks such as Banco Santander or BBVA.

During the course we have been studying a book that is a colleection of a lot of economics articles, made by out teacher Francisto Rodríguez. This is the book where in which we work in for the expositions.  This book has a mixture of articles that talk about hundreds matters. Although, it is focus in how to create a company being aware of the global crisis that started in USA.
