Spanish general elections 2011 and politicians Twitter attempt to win followers (and voters)

Since Zapatero made public last July that the elections would be brought forward, the candidates from the different parties have been giving particular importance to Microblogging usage, specially on Twitter. Candidates have been tweeting what they were doing or, what they intended to do, if they reached the power. The Nielsen Study has analyzed the Twitter accounts of Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba (PSOE) and Mariano Rajoy (PP) and shows that both politicians twitters were quite inexpressive and not too well developed. Bloggers are the latest strategy fashion brands are using to promote their products – and one need look no further than the multiple collaborations some brands have orchestrated with bloggers for proof that this is true.

That’s why Coach, the American leather goods and accessories company, reached out to Danny Chung, a 24-year-old social media strategist who writes about personal style and the fashion industry on his blog the modman.

“We are in a time where there’s so much competition among brands that are vying for consumers’ attention, especially when it comes to digital and social”

Chung said, explaining that brands such as Coach works with bloggers  is largely because they want to tap into the audience and be exposed to a new consumer base.

Twitter eta bere trending topic-ak

Telebista piztu, programaren bat jarri eta Twitter-eko helbideak ikustea ez da batere arraroa. Gero eta arruntagoa da telebistako saio askok bere populartasuna neurtzeko erabiltzen duten metodoa trendic topics-en begiratzea izatea. Espainian, dimentsio gehigarria edo bi-norabidetasuna hornitzeko erabilerak oso ezagunak dira. Honen adibide, La Pecera de Eva, El Barco-ren Twittersodio-ak edo El Hormiguero bezalako programen lan nekaezina.  Chica de la tele ezizenaz bere blog-ean mintzatzen den neskak esaten duen moduan:

Estar muy atentos a lo que ocurre allí como si se tratara de un análisis cualitativo de la programación y un más que interesante estudio sociológico de la audiencia de cada canal y cada tipo de programa.

KUKUTZA-tik ez dira pasako!

Goizeko bostak dira Errekaldeko auzoan eta Kukutza izeneko gune kulturalaren aurreko bihurgunean ertzaintzaren hogei bat furgoi agertu dira ezustekoan. Hauetatik bakoitzetik 7-8 beltz jaisten dira guztiz armaturik. Helburua? August 28th 1963, the day a dream was born

The date of 28th August 1963 will be always remembered because Martin Luther King, an activist in the African-American Civil Rights Movement, gave his speech called I have a dream in front of 250.000 people during the March on Washington, with the help of other leaders and organizations to demand an end to racial segregation in public schools, meaningful civil rights legislation, protection of civil rights workers from police brutality, a minimum wage for all workers and self-government for Washington D.C.
